At Valley Grace Dental, we apply dental sealants in just one short, comfortable visit to our practice. The entire process, from start to finish, only takes a few minutes. We thoroughly clean the teeth and let them dry, before applying a special solution over the enamel to strengthen the teeth’s bonding capability. After applying the bonding agent, we carefully pain the clear or tooth-colored sealant material over the enamel to cover the ridges, grooves, and depressions. Most sealant materials harden immediately, but, in some cases, we may use a special light to harden the material.
